Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, self motivated Diversional Therapist or Activities Officer who is seeking a rewarding position. Diversional Therapists provide individual, group activities and therapy programs which are designed to enhance the spiritual, physical, social and psychological well being of clients/residents. As a Diversional Therapist you will have experience in developing individualised activities for the frail aged residents and Certificate IV in Diversional Therapy (or working towards same). Activities Officers are responsible for following a program of activities that stimulate the spiritual, physical, social and psychological needs of all clients/residents and a Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Services or Disability would be desirable. The successful applicant will be self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively in a team situation. It is essential that you have a, a current First Aid Certificate and a current Queensland Driver’s Licence.
