Special Notice for all Parkwood Gardens Job Applicants
Ozcare would like to thank all applicants for taking the time to submit their applications for the recently advertised positions at our new Aged Care Facility located at Parkwood. Due to the overwhelming response of applications, we are unable to contact all applicants individually. Successful applicants will be contacted in the near future.
Please note, as we continue to increase our resident admissions, recruitment of staff will occur over the next 6 months.
About Parkwood Gardens
Chief Executive Officer Brian Lenz said that the architect-designed building will provide 104 low care and high care beds for residents, with future capacity for an additional 40 beds.
“This is a state-of-the-art facility with beautifully appointed, ensuited rooms set in tropical landscaped gardens.
“Parkwood Gardens will provide 24 hour care for residents and will have the most modern equipment and systems to ensure the highest standards of care.
“All meals will be prepared onsite and we will offer onsite hairdressing, and allied health such as physiotherapy and podiatry.
“Life at Parkwood Gardens will be motivating and busy with a comprehensive activities program to suit all individual interests and needs.
“Ozcare ensures that all its facilities are staffed with fully trained and professional staff with expertise in caring for the elderly and disabled,” Mr Lenz said.
Recruitment is underway and positions are still available for people looking for employment on the Gold Coast.
Ozcare’s facilities and services are accredited for quality by International Standards Organisation (ISO) and in addition, all Aged Care Facilities are compliant with the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
Parkwood Gardens will be the latest of 10 Aged Care Facilities that Ozcare operates throughout Queensland, from Port Douglas and Malanda in the North, to Burleigh Heads in the South.
