Community Linking
Community Linking is part of the Ipswich Community Access Disability Services (ICADS) and assists people with a mental disability (including homeless youth with a mental illness). Community Linking is one of the components of the Resident Support Program (RSP) and is designed to improve the well-being and quality of life of residents with a disability who are socially isolated and disadvantaged, and are living in private supported hostels and boarding houses. The Program operates in the Ipswich, Goodna and Esk areas and links residents into their local communities to help meet their recreational, social, educational and vocational needs. |
