Early Intervention - Homelessness
The service helps to prevent homelessness by providing support and case management at critical times. By early identification of those at risk, the service assists people to:
The service also aims to educate government and non-government agencies in relation to the early identifiers for people who are in danger of becoming homeless.
This is an outreach service which works to empower clients by providing information on available services.
Follow-up support is also provided to clients who are exiting the service. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and living in an ongoing rental accommodation arrangement. Before accepting an applicant, there must be sufficient time for the service to work with the applicant to prevent homelessness. Funded by Queensland Department of Communities. |
