Women's Shelter - Maria House
Maria House in Townsville offers safe, secure, short-term accommodation for women and their children, regardless of age, race, religion, or financial situation. They may have experienced family breakdown, financial issues, homelessness, addiction or psychological illness.
The Program assists with personal counselling, parenting issues and access to services which provide clients with on-going support to move towards a new life of independence.
Supported Accommodation services are available to clients for a period of up to twelve weeks.
