Ozcare

Homeless Men's Hostels

Ozcare Men’s Hostels are staffed 24 hours a day and provide short term crisis accommodation, support and meals to men aged 18 years and over. 

Support and individual assistance is also provided to assist in achieving self-reliance and independence by addressing the issues of homelessness.

Services include:

  • Short term crisis accommodation
  • Meals
  • Assistance towards independent living through case management practices 
  • Referrals, advocacy and information
  • Alternate housing information and support
  • Assistance with linkage to vocational support programs
  • Access to health services including visiting Ozcare Nursing Staff and HACC Services
Some Hostels also provide support services, including meals, to those in the community (men, women and accompanied children) who are in need of support and care.
