Bequests

Leave a lasting legacy for your community

Each of us finds different ways to make our mark on the world. One way of doing this is by making a Bequest.

A Bequest is a gift left in a Will. When you make a Bequest, you are leaving a legacy to support an organisation whose work you believe in. Your Bequest will support our emergency accommodation, aged care, and community service programs far into the future.

With a Bequest, you give a gift that lasts longer than a lifetime, a gift that will always be remembered. That's because your Bequest will directly help feed, clothe and give hope to those whose lives have lost direction and sustain our programs that support thousands of Queenslanders every day.

If you intend to make a Bequest or wish to learn more about what your gift can achieve, you can:

  • Download our form Making A Bequest to Ozcare  which contains wording to include Ozcare in your Will. You may wish to make a bequest to a particular program. We recommend taking this document to your legal advisor.
  • Arrange for an Ozcare representative to contact you to discuss your bequest.
  • Contact us to let us know if we can help in other ways, or if you have any other questions regarding bequests.
If you are planning to leave a gift to Ozcare in your will, please let us know so we can thank you and acknowledge you on behalf of the many lives you will change.
