Ozcare currently has two exciting opportunities to join our Board. We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons for the positions of:

Non-Executive Director

Ozcare is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons to join the Board of Ozcare as a Non-Executive Director.

Applying for the role

The following selection criteria applies:

  • A commitment to work within the mission and values of Ozcare.
  • Prior governance experience, including the ability to operate strategically and engage stakeholders.
  • Superior communication and effective meeting skills.
  • A genuine passion to contribute to the growth and sustainability of the organisation.
  • Specific experience in any of the following, would be highly regarded:
    • Clinical governance
    • Risk management
    • Finance and accounting
    • Aged care industry experience

In addition, the successful applicant must be willing to provide a current National Police Screening certificate and a Disability Services Queensland / Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

This is a non-paid role. Committee members may be reimbursed for business related out of pocket expenses. Committee meetings are held every quarter or as required.

Advisory Committee Member to the Board

Ozcare is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons to join one of various Board Advisory Sub-committees which provide assistance and make recommendations to the Board of Ozcare.

Board Committees

As part of Ozcare’s governance in support the board’s decision-making process, the following committees provide advisory support:

  • Finance and Audit
  • Risk, Quality and Safety
  • Governance and Remuneration
  • Property and Construction

Applying for the role

The following selection criteria applies:

  • Indication of which committee you would like to join
  • Outline of your relevant experience to that particular advisory committee
  • A commitment to work within the mission and values of Ozcare.
  • Superior communication and effective meeting skills.
  • A genuine passion to contribute to the growth and sustainability of the organisation.

In addition, the successful applicant must be willing to provide a current National Police Screening certificate.
