          Living in Residential Aged Care

Aged care facilities, also known as nursing homes or aged care homes, are vibrant places, full of activities and people.

There may be an adjustment period as you get used to a new environment and living with others. However, you will have all the help you need which will make daily living activities that much easier.

There will be a calendar of activities for you to choose from, and the day is completely yours to do as you please. You can have visitors just as you would at home, and go for outings with friends or family as long as you are well enough to do so.

You will be provided with five meals per day including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. All meals are cooked in our kitchens by our hospitality staff, who cater for all dietary requirements.

When you first arrive we will sit down with you to create a personalised care plan that takes into account your specific needs and preferences. This plan will be adjusted through your stay with us as your needs  may change, ensuring you always have the best care possible.
