The Ozcare Day Respite Centre in Toowoomba is a small centre operating once a week for seniors, adults with a disability, and those in the community who feel isolated or lonely. Enjoy group and individual activities designed to allow friendships to blossom and support your independence, with assistance from our trained and caring staff.
Physical activities include: gentle exercises, indoor games, billiards, carpet bowls, ten pin bowling, dancing, movement to music, outdoor games, croquet, mini golf, bocce, and more.
Mental stimulation activities include: craft, word games, puzzles, group quizzes (scattegories, family feud), board games (dominoes, cards, canasta, euchre, 500, cribbage, sequence, rummy king), reading, and more.
Social activities include: discussion groups, reading groups, concerts, school groups, guest presenters, product/trade demonstrations, outings, and more.

Activities are designed to be enjoyed by everyone regardless of age or impairment. We also provide access to allied health services for those who are Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) clients.
The cost of your care depends on your eligibility for government subsides. The coordinator will discuss this with you when you enquire. The daily fee includes:
Our preferred payment method is direct debit, which deducts fees from your nominated bank account on the day they are due.

Please notify us of cancellations between 7.30am and 8.45am on the day.
You or your carer can call or visit the centre to enquire about vacancies. The coordinator will discuss your care needs and advise you of your eligibility, and the service's availability.
