For people with permanent and significant disability
Our experienced staff provide an extensive range of services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We focus on your abilities and strengths, rather than things you aren’t able to do. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing individualised support for eligible people with a permanent and significant disability, their families, and carers.
If you are aged under 65 years old and satisfy the eligibility criteria, the NDIS will provide you with the reasonable and necessary supports you need to achieve your goals and live your best life.
In order to start receiving NDIS services you need to have your eligibility assessed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
You can usually start this process in the six months leading up to the roll out date in your area, so that you can have your approval ready and services in place as soon as possible after the NDIS launch.
Once the NDIS has been rolled out in your area, and you have been approved for NDIS, you can begin to look for a provider for each of your services, known as ‘supports’.
Under the NDIS, you have control over your plan, and the supports you are receiving. This includes what supports you want to receive, when you receive them, where you receive them, and the provider that you want.
To start services you will need to create a service booking with your chosen providers. Ozcare’s NDIS services are open to all NDIS participants with an approved NDIS plan. We have branches all over Queensland, from the Gold Coast to Far North Queensland.
We have been providing nursing, allied health, and home care disability services for more than 20 years, helping our clients to live at home with a better quality of life.
We will work with you to develop a personalised care plan that takes into account your strengths, unique needs and helps you to achieve your goals.
We are able to be your single point of contact for anything NDIS related. We will work with you to secure whatever services you need, whether we provide the services ourselves or partner with another provider.
