For people with permanent and significant disability
Our experienced staff provide an extensive range of services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We focus on your abilities and strengths, rather than things you aren’t able to do. Using these as a base, we find ways to help you maintain or increase your independence and achieve your health and wellbeing goals.
As a registered NDIS provider, we offer a number of the support categories available under NDIS. These are:
|Support category||Available supports|
|Assistance with daily life
|Daily personal activities|
|Assistance with daily life tasks in a group or shared living arrangement|
|Assistance with household tasks including cleaning|
|Overnight respite in the home or a centre|
|Transport||Assistance with travel and transport arrangements|
|Assistance with social and community participation|
|Support with engaging in community, social and recreational activities in a 1-on-1 or group based setting|

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing individualised support for eligible people with a permanent and significant disability, their families, and carers.
If you are aged under 65 years old and satisfy the eligibility criteria, the NDIS will provide you with the reasonable and necessary supports you need to achieve your goals and live your best life.
In order to start receiving NDIS services you need to have your eligibility assessed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
Once you have been approved for NDIS, you can begin to look for a provider for each of your services, known as ‘supports’.
Under the NDIS, you have control over your plan, and the supports you are receiving. This includes what supports you want to receive, when you receive them, where you receive them, and the provider that you want.
To start services we can make a service booking on your behalf if your plan is NDIA managed. Ozcare’s NDIS services are open to all NDIS participants with an approved NDIS plan. We have branches all over Queensland, from the Gold Coast to Far North Queensland.
We have been providing nursing, allied health, and home care disability services for more than 20 years, helping our clients to live at home with a better quality of life.
We will work with you to develop a personalised care plan that takes into account your strengths, unique needs and helps you to achieve your goals.
We are able to be your single point of contact for anything NDIS related. We will work with you to secure whatever services you need, whether we provide the services ourselves or partner with another provider.
